FRANKFURT, OCTOBER 7, 2025 – AviaSafe today at Inter Airport Europe (IAE25), the largest event for airport equipment technology, design and services, revealed the all-new Airport Rotating Beacon that will enhancing its product lineup and customer experience.

Elevating the company’s position as a leading manufacturer of aviation airfield ground lighting and support systems, the company’s 2026 product portfolio further enhances the safety, functionality, and passenger experience of airports worldwide. AviaSafe will announce prices for the Rotating Beacon after IAE25 but is available to order now.

The latest introduction – rolling out to customers worldwide from today – builds on demand from customers for Aviasafe’s low energy consumption, durable LED products that deliver significant lifetime cost-savings.

The company also debuts AviaSafe BESPOKE®, its new design options for 2026 that, from Q4 2025, enable customers to further design their AviaSafe products tailored to meet their needs – now and in the future.

“Airports are driven by commitment and want more from their AGL products, so are prioritizing resilient, tailored sustainable airfield lighting that delivers greater than ever return on investment,” said Parvis Khatibi, AviaSafe CEO. “AviaSafe is making this a reality by offering them the absolute best in terms of outstanding performance and future-proof lighting solutions.”

Future-read compliant design proven in every climate
AviaSafe is showing the Airport Rotating Beacon in Munich as a vision of future innovation and design for the company, while delivering its signature modular structure for simplified maintenance, ability to withstand wind speeds of 160 km/h, and optional photocell that automatically turns the beacon on at sunset and off at sunrise.

As with every AviaSafe product, the Rotating Beacon has been engineered to meet international aviation standards, and the company’s punishing durability programme. Each product is tested for hundreds of hours so they are resistant to the most severe weather conditions.

AviaSafe airfield engineers develop best-in-class AGL by subjecting each product to intense African heat, Latin American rainforest humidity and arctic cold, and wind speeds of up to 250 km/h (155 mph), so customers are confident AviaSafe products can handle whatever climate they’re put to work by real-world customers. As a direct result, the Rotating Beacon can be clearly seen by pilots and crews from 50 km, stops immediately if one or both lamps are blown, rotates at 14 rpm and has a 28-fpm frequency.

Advanced line-up and customer excellence
In addition to offering lower energy consumption of up to 70% compared to halogen lights*, and reduced life cycle costs due to the long LED lifespan, AviaSafe BESPOKE
® customers benefit from a wider range of manufacturing options, delivering greater customer product AGL design options that are as unique as the airports in which they serve.

“The 2026 AviaSafe AGL portfolio and BESPOKE programme are another example of our commitment to making premium airfield ground lighting equipment a reality,” said Nick Zea-Smith, sales and marketing manager, AviaSafe. “Airports and integrators demand game-changing products that combine reduced cost of ownership with outstanding performance. As our sales growth shows, AviaSafe enables customers to do this faster while transitioning to LED with future-ready product portfolio.”

AviaSafe customers are also set to benefit from a new enhanced distribution network, helping AGL integrators optimize revenue streams, maximize margin and aftersales services on three continents from October 2025.

Designed to meet growing needs from customers demanding greater reliability, the announcement – which includes pre-finance packages – is part of a multi-year investment by the company in manufacturing and customer service. The extended and enhanced 2026 AviaSafe range – available to order at Inter Airport Europe – is on stand B5-1710 on October 7.
