ICAO & EASA Certification

In 2024, AviaSafe achieved ICAO and EASA certifications for its airfield lighting and guidance sign systems, confirming the company’s commitment to international quality, safety, and compliance standards

2023

Factory Completion in Fambach

In 2023, AviaSafe completed its factory in Fambach, Germany, dedicated to final assembly and routine testing of airfield lighting and guidance systems, strengthening the company’s commitment to German quality and in-house production.

1st Exhibition at Inter Airport Munich

In 2023, AviaSafe proudly participated in its first international exhibition at Inter Airport Europe in Munich, presenting its airfield lighting and guidance systems to a global audience and establishing its presence in the international aviation market.

Full Lighting Range and In-House Testing

1st Prototypes of Airfield Lights and Signs

In 2021, the company developed its first prototypes of inset and elevated LED airfield lights, along with airfield guidance signs, marking a key milestone in transforming R&D results into tangible aviation products.

Second Phase of Lighting R&D

In 2020, the company initiated the second phase of research and development for its airfield lighting systems, focusing on performance improvement, energy efficiency, and compliance with ICAO and FAA standards.

2019

Transition to Airfield Equipment

In 2019, the company shifted its focus from oil and gas projects to airfield equipment, marking a major step toward becoming a specialized manufacturer of airfield lighting and guidance systems.

2016

Start of Airfield Lighting R&D

In 2016, the company launched its first phase of research and development on airfield lighting systems, marking the beginning of its transition from engineering services to specialized aviation ground lighting solutions.

2005

Helideck Lighting Projects

By 2005, the company expanded its engineering expertise to helideck projects, focusing on the design and installation of helideck lighting systems and obstruction lights for offshore and onshore facilities.

2000

Expansion into Oil and Gas Engineering

In 2000, the company expanded into the design and procurement of oil and gas projects, including compressor stations, offshore platforms, refineries, turbines, and drilling rigs. It also developed detailed P&IDs and PFDs, strengthening its expertise in complex industrial engineering and project execution.

1999

Company Registration

AviaSafe GmbH was founded in 1999 under the name North Petroleum Engineering Services GmbH (NPES). The company started by providing engineering services and built a reputation for German precision and reliability values that later shaped its evolution into AviaSafe GmbH, a specialist in airfield lighting and guidance systems.
